Question about Acer Aspire 3000 Notebook
No lights, no beeps ,nothing!
Laptop is Just over 1 year old.
I tried using a known good power supply and still no bootup or anything .
Also with battery out too, still nothing either way.
Thinking there must be something in the circuitry gone bad?
Any ideals as to what part usually goes out on these ?
Thanks for your input
Had the same problem , took out the Ram stuck it back in again and all was fine or try using a different module .

Remove the two nuts from the external monitor port right next to the power jack. Just wiggle the motherboard out. That should do the trick.

Try to clear cmos by changing the position of its jumper ( while power is off) near the batery in the mainboard then return it to its position.

Follow this link and it will take you to a disassembly guide for the Acer 3000 series. But it is pretty basic and I think you may be past the points that it covers. There is also a note with a link in the top section to get to the service manual. This only gets you chapter 6, which is an exploded parts view with a list of part numbers. Maybe that link will be of more help.
Will keep looking for you!
