Typically there is no serial number associated with a toilet seat. The seat will either be a round front or an elongated seat. Just make sure the shape is the same when purchasing the replacement seat.

I had the same issue and basically called every single american standard distributor I could find. I finally found one! They had the gold hinges but I didnt care, it fits and works fine. Make sure you know the part number. I had a good salesperson that knew to look for any color hinge so I had a seat

Replacement seat....size???

American Standard is the brand, so you've got a start there, but 1.6 is a flush measurement. Look around the inside for a tank for a model number - with AmStan toilets it's usually a four digit number beginning with a 2 or a 4. This will be what you need to get the OEM toilet seat. However, since toilet seats are purely cosmetic (they don't affect the functioning of the toilet), you can literally take a few measurements and find something that simply keeps you off the porcelain. http://www.plumbingsupply.com is a good one for toilet seats, btw.

Ibought a new Jacuzzi toilet that came with a seat it will not sit right on the base can't ajust it and everytime you shift your wieght it skips any help or should i bring the seat back to lowes?

Number one make sure it is installed as the instructions say, the seat bolts most be tight. If that is right then if you are shifting a lot of weight you may need a thicker more heavy duty seat.

Pc is saying hard drive not found

New PC or old PC?
New motherboard or old motherboard?
New hard-drive or old hard-drive?

Check the ribbon-cable between the motherboard and the disk-drive, to make sure that both ends are seated correctly.

Turn the computer off. Unplug the AC power-cord.
Touch the hard-drive -- is it "warm" or "cold" ?
Cold means that it is not getting any power.

Remove the hard-drive. Look at the labels on it. Write-down the manufacturer, model-number, serial-number, and manufacture-date. Go to the manufacturer's web-site, and enter the serial-number, to see if the drive is still under warranty.

I don't now how i have to found my chassis serial number ...mighty max 89

In most cases, the chassis serial number is hidden underneath the seats or carpet. The best bet to find it, even if it takes a few hours to do, will be to remove all the seats and carpets from the vehicule. That way you will have the whole floor visible and you will have a much better chance to find it. You might also find a cap along the way labeled Chassis Serial Number which will hide the number stamped on the sheet metal, and you won't need to go any further. On my toyota echo 2005 it's hidden underneath such a cap underneath my passeger seat between the 2 mounting bolts for the seat for example.
