Question about Syntax Olevia LT32HV 32 in. HD-Ready LCD Television

Display settings went haywire

My LT37HVS TV is having some serious issues right now that I hope someone can help me with. It has been working fine for over a year, but about 2 weeks ago the VGA display turned a pinkish hue. I managed to tweak my
computer's video card settings to compensate for it. But then I found more problems.

The YPbPr1 & 2 inputs went black and white. I figured out that the hue setting had mysteriously reset to 0... and
fixed that.

But then I started testing the other inputs, and found that the picture is jagged and constantly scrolling vertically when anything is plugged into the S-Video or RCA inputs.

The same thing is happening with several devices (Wii, PS2) and with both sets of input jacks. The Wii works fine with the Component input, so I conclude that it's a problem with the TV and not with my appliances.

Has anyone seen this before, and does anyone have any ideas as to what happened to mess everything up or suggestions as to how to fix it?

Thank you,

Re: Display settings went haywire

I had the same problem and in the end it took for an engineer to replace a part at a cost of £120...

Sharp LC-32SB220U

If you wish to get more details, check this link. Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Time slide, can be selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

How u get it off the **** screen When i hook up my xbox its comes on but its on the left part of the screen & the right side stays blue

Good day!!!

Please try to input other device such as DVD player to determine which device (x-box) or (TV) need to set up full view settings..

If you play DVD and the screen is fine so you need to set up the full view of your x-box using remote..

If you play a DVD but the screen is still half..You need to set the full view of you TV using remote..

I you have more queries and clarification just add a comment..

Hope it helps..

Thanks for using fixya..

My Olevia LT37HVS 37' was working fine all day and turned to black screen.

It is either the fluorescent backlight source for the LCD panel or its associated power supply failing.
