When i switch my samsung S830 camera on the green light comes on but nothing appears on screen. the camera then makes a beeping noise before switching itself off.

Hi I am Vortash this happens to my camera when the batteries are low .. if you have the batteries ( re chargeable ) that where supplied with the camera you may find that they are not accepting a charge any longer and require replacement .. try a new set of batteries and if this fails then it may be that the screen backlight has gone causing the camera to turn off .. however the amount of things it could be is best described by the saying how long is a piece of string ? you may find a free estimate from a camera repair cenetre just may be cheaper than a replacement camera.. regards Vortash.
