Are these all commercial pre-recorded tapes? Or are they tapes that were recorded at home? Is the tape deck one that the tape loads in from the short side and must be flipped around to play the other side....or is it one that the tape loads in with the tape facing in and is auto-reversing? Pre-recorded commercial tapes should work on most machines without problems. Home recorded tapes can be a problem, especially on the type of deck that the tape must be swapped over to play the reverse side. Many users use C90 or C120 tapes to home record. These tapes are thinner than normal tapes and are prone to getting overly tight and then can break and/or stretch. This causes jamming in the deck and distortion of the playback.

How to work 12 disk changer in 2001 corvette with a bose radio

Hello my name is Ben. I have had 2 of these cars and they both worked the same. Once you load the cartridge with your CDs and insert the cartridge into changer and close that little door on the changer the rest is automatic. On the dash you will see two buttons to the left of the radio display. One says TAPE AUX. That is the button that switches from radio to the CD changer. Push the TAPE AUX button and the CD changer will play whichever CD is selected. The PREV button if pressed during the first 8 seconds of a song will go to the previous song, if PREV is pressed after 8 seconds it will go to the beginning of the song. The PROG button will go to the next CD. The NEXT button will go to the next song on the CD you are playing. The REV and FWD allow you to quickly move within a song, either forward or backward. If you have any other questions, just ask, I have the owners manual readily available. I know it should be in the car, LOL

Kareoke machine. cd fine . tape no sound

With audio problems if you look inside the unit, start the machine playing, then trace the wires from the tape head to the PC Board, then all you need do is touch the wires from the head with a small screwdriver. This should cause a buzz in either channel, if working right. Follow the circuit of the audio and keep probing. If you get Buzzing sounds near the output, and where the wires from the head enters, then there's something up with the head. But check for micro switches these can break and bend out of place so the sound is cut off.
If you get no buzz at where the head wires enter the PC Board, then there's a fault in the audio section.
As both channels are out you are looking at something common to both channels, for instance an IC.

Converter of audio cassettes to CDs

Get a computer with an audio input or soundcard. Like a Mac with garageband and a soundcard. connect both with a male 1/8" to male 1/8" cable. Press play on the tape deck, record on the computer. Once done, edit and trim the beginning and end. Import to itunes. Create a playlist. Burn to cd. Simple.

Playback problems started suddenly

I had the same problem. I fixed it by gently dropping the camcorder on the carpeted floor. I know it sounds silly, but it really works. I've had to do it twice, and it worked both times. I hope it works for you.

Picture and sound is skipping or stuttering during playback. It happens when playing any video.

This was often caused by mixing brands of tape. Do not use head cleaners more than absolutely necessary. More than half a dozen times or so, and heads are toast.

Use quality tapes of the same make/length, from new, and you will be fine. (the coatings on the tapes vary, and can/did interact with each other.)
