MENU BAR IS GONE...PUFF, GONE

Press ctrl+esc to see if the start menu pops up, if it does not then proceed by trying the following steps below.

Make sure explorer.exe is still running:
Press ctrl+alt+delete to get into Task Manager and do File -> New Task -> explorer.exe -> OK

Otherwise check to see if your task bar is auto hiding:
Move the cursor to all four edges of the screen in an attempt to locate the hiding task bar. If the task bar does pop up, right click on it and press properties. Proceed by unchecking Auto-hide the taskbar under the Taskbar tab and pressing Apply and OK.

If all else fails, try rebooting the PC.

My start button is hide i can not open the tool and taskbar in control panel

Padmajam,
Someone has played a prank on you. If you take the mouse pointer to the bottom edge the task bar will come on. When it comes on right click on it in the blue space and select the properties. Unclick the box for "Auto hide the Task Bar". And your task bar will be visible to you till someone hides it again.

Task bar is missing on bottom of screen after pc wakes up.

mine does this with windows 7, right click on desktop and open 'personalize' then open 'taskbar and start menu'
From here choose to move your taskbar location to the side of the screen and click apply. it should return, then just tell it to go back to the bottom.
