I have a Sylvania CT202SL8 that suddenly changed language on several channels to Spanish. If they aren't in Spanish, I have a narrator. How can I fix this?

Do you mean the language is in Spanish, or do you mean you are being offered Spanish Programming?

Make sure your subscription is for English Programming.

If you are using cable box the took it remote and find the button LANG(language). When you press every time the language will change. Select the on you prefer. Do the same for the channel which gives narration.

This is usually a result of selecting "SAP" (Secondary Audio Program).

You should find a button or setting on the TV, remote or both that will cycle between the main audio program (English) and the secondary audio program (Spanish) every time you press / select it.

You may also find this to be a setting on your cable TV or satellite TV set top box.

Some channels come from different countries where they speak different languages. Sometimes they are from cultural channels which address their different language speaking citizens.

if as indicated here a combo unit problem can be in player (mechanism) or in the TV section itself----power supply or sweep circuits.

Check the actual DVD player menu after movie starts there should be a language option there. Also there is an option on the TV (called SAP) which makes whatever plays through the tv into spanish make sure that is off while on the same channel your dvd plays on.

some times it is due to channel interference or due to weak signal or poor transmission. as your tv is perfectly ok so question of defect in tv. it is outside problem only please check it.
