Bought a Technics SA-GX350 Reveiver on eBay. Everything works perfectly. Only problem is the 4 feet underneath are loose and cannot be tightened fully. I have partially resolved problem with cork chair leg silencers but woul like a more permanent solution. It's as if the fixing screws STEE too short or perhaps some washers are missing. Any advice would be much appreciated. Stephen.

Tanks steven for the question, but what model are you talking about? Why not give us the model name in the first place?
Did you try to open the receiver, to see what is on the inside, holding the feet?
The more you give us here, the better the answer can be.
you should be able to buy one off ebay or type in google online instruction manual for technics followed by the model which is SCEH790 and put fixya next to it as they supply manuals for everything.
Hi mate, had the same problem with my amp.. Take the top off and there is a fan at the back, there are 2 piece's of copper flat wire that touch together and these do not touch anymore so when its turned up or the bass gets stronger it cuts off as the fan should kick in at this point. If you can get these to touch again (bend them) then the problem will be gone!! I have had to do this a few times now though so this is not a long term fix.. I may try soldering!
I'm not sure what entry will be emailed to you, so I have repeated the "solution" from the other entry below. Please only update one.
Thanks,

Initial entry:
There could be a number of reasons for this. It woyld help if you could indicate what resistors you changed. The circuit designation should be marked on the PC board. Please post those here and I'll look further and provide some possible solutions.
