I lost the installation cd for my canon mg 2540 is there another way to connect it 0

Download the software package from the Canon Website and install from that.

Click, Drivers and Software and now download, the Drivers and Software that you need and make sure it for your machine , Windows 7 x32 or x64 or windows 8 x32 or x64 or Windows Vista and XP.

Once downloaded, install the drivers first connect your printer, then install the programs.

You may download Canon drivers and software from here.

That is because the audio controller is not build into the chipset. You would need to know the manufacturer of the motherboard and download the driver from their site, then install it.

If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.
