Toshiba 32A33-Dvd Single Disk Player Recommendation?

Greetings, :-)

I own a Toshiba 32A33 tv.

I am buying a single disk dvd player but I need some advice.

I am using the dvd player for watching dvd movies (library), some dvd's I will make myself with a dual layer dvd.

Some models I have looked at;

Panasonic DVD-S53k Black
Pioneer DV-400V
Toshiba SD-5000

I assume these dvd players will work with the 32A33 but how will the picture be?

Any input or information is appreciated.

Re: Toshiba 32A33-Dvd Single Disk Player Recommendation?

I did what you are going to do,i bought a panasonic dvd to do the job and i found it to be just the one.
toshiba are a good make,so both will do but not sure about the pioneer.
i would go for the panasonic dvd as it worked very well for me.
the best thing to do is get it from argos because you have i think 14 days to return it,so you can check if its ok,if not you can take it back for a refund, and say that you bought it for a friend but they have already got one with out you knowing..hope this helps.all the best..Lee Bruce..

Does not have 3 color connections. Can you hook up a DVD player?

you must use the "Composite" video output (the single yellow plug, with the red/white for audio of course) of the DVD player. Tube TVs rarely have "Component" connections because they are primarily used for 480P and above resolutions, which tubers can't produce. If your TV and DVD player have "S-Video" connections, use them for the best possible picture.

Every time we play a DVD it says VIDEO in to upper right hand corner and I don't know how to make it go away.

"Video" is displayed on the monitor(TV) usually because you have the DVD player plugged in by a single RCA cable (three with audio). TV remote or DVD player should have a "display" button. Try tapping that to clear. Or, go through the "Input" keys on TV remote and select the video source vs. letting it auto detect. Hope this helps.

Can the dvd player be changed a toshiba tv

You are worrying needlessly. Just buy a head cleaner and run it through. It's just like the old VCRs. The heads get an accumulation on them in time, and it is certainly cheaper and easier to clean them than it is to replace the unit. Please rate this answer.

Have an RCA F27636BC TV. Can u hook a DVD player

How to hookup TV

If you have a TV with only a single coax input and you want to hook up components like DVD players and VCRs, here's how to do it.

What you need to connect your DVD player or game players to a TV that only has a VHF/UHF 75-ohm F-connector ("coax antenna input").

1.) RF Modulator with Stereo Audio Inputs.

2.) 6 foot long coaxial cable with male "F" connectors. This cable goes from the modulator to the TV. The modulator also has a coaxial input to plug in your antenna or your VCR.

3.) 6 foot long Video and Audio Cables with "RCA" plugs. The cables connect the yellow, red and white outputs from your DVD or game player to the yellow, red and white inputs of the modulator.

Works with X-Box, PlayStation, Nintendo or other devices that output audio/video via the RCA plugs and you want to connect them to your coaxial only TV.
