I have a Maytag MAV7700 washer. It can fill with hot or cold water but when warm is selected it doesn't appropriately mix them to get a warm temperature even with the automatic temperature control activated. The light for the automatic temperature control also doesn't illuminate. Is there a way to diagnose which part needs to be replaced?
SOURCE: The water will not come
just a possibility but have you the hot and cold hoses the wrong way round assuming it is a two fill hose machine. way to check is to select rinse and put you hand in the water coming into the drawer. if it is warm, then hoses are wrong way round
SOURCE: automatic temperature control
The cold water valve may be defective - the solenoid (coil) burnt open. Coil may be replaced
