SOURCE: Spin Cycle/Machine makes noise and moves

You can't tight up the tub. You should replace the damper pads that located beneath main support housing on base's machine. Goog luck !

SOURCE: excessiv drum movement back and forth

this noise is from the drum bearings and yes its a big and exspensive job to do complete strip down and will more then likely cost around £120-£160 to do if u like the washer and its in good condition then have it done because zanussi's and r good machines u can buy the rear of the drum with the bearing already in it but it still needs the drum taking out and then splitting from the front part of the tub but there again it will still cost u upto £100 anyway to do why this happens is mainly over filling the drum

SOURCE: Washing machine won't do final spin.

Remove the front lower panel. Right in front you will see the pump filter. Get some towels and a bucket and unscrew the filter cap and pull the filter out. See if you have a bunch of lint and stuff in there. If you do, clear it out, refit carefully and give the washer another try. The companies dont tell you how to do it, for their techs then won't make any money. A tech to clean your filter!!!?? $$$

You're free to rate me............not that i get anything. Happy laundry!!

While spinning, it made a loud noise but finished washing the load while continuing to make the noise especially while spinning fast.

Hi Chantal,
In my many years repairing Miele machines - the most common problem for what you are describing is the underwire from a bra has got in between the inner and outer drum. It's tricky to get out and can be done if you are good with tools and a little technical - but it does involve opening up the machine, removing one of the heating ellements and searching / fishing it out. Another less common reason for this rubbing noise could be the metal heater element bracket that also sits between the inner & outer drum, has bent - but this is normally caused by a bra underwire. Hope this helps.

That is what is behind the little square cover on the bottom left corner in the front.
I circled it in the attached picture

Why does Miele w2515 makes loud banging noise when it is about to spin?

See if you can level out the unit. Sound like the case is responding to un-even pressures.

I have an Indesit washing machine and when it get to a fast spin cycle it sounds like it is washing a load of rocks. It is very loud. It doesn't seem to do this when the drum is turning slowly.

Hi.
It soumds to me like the main drum bearings have failed.
From the front of the washer, put your hand inside the drum and spin it round, it should be noise free, if it feels rough or is grating or rumbling, then the bearings have failed.
This is quite a big and involved repair to undertake.

When on spin, the drum is rattling and making a lot of noise

More than likely the main drum bearings have failed.
From the front of the washer, spin the drum by hand, and if it feels rough, or is rumbling or grating, then the bearings have failed.

Sounds loike the main drum bearings have failed.
Spin the drum by hand from the front, and if it feels rough, or is rumbling or grating, then the main bearigs have failed.
Quite an expensive repair, unless it is covered by the Hotpoint 5 year parts guarantee, check with Hotpoint.
