In order to ensure, it is not caused by the input device, connect a DVD player and see. Also look for any loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and socket. Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.
If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.
I think the first thing to do is go back to the cpu Fan and check the plug and make sure you are on the pins as should be make sure that there isn't any Bent pins . Continue on to the next fan in question. If not then I would not continue Running this machine Until I had the fan problem fixed. It doesn't take long to mess things up. I am surprised that it will run . I would like to have faith in the hardware monitor to propely shut it down.then I would go to the power source Plug on the motherBoard . Check that it is connected good and try it for a short run on then off to make sure that the fans are running like they are supposed to.
make sure your power connections are secure into the motherboard and secure connections to power supply.
Have you tried plugging system into a different outlet power source in your home.Is your power bar connection working
if they are then the problem could be the mother board not the power.
Being under warranty, I would take it back for an exchange. You don't want something brand new and it is dead on arrival. Either that or take it to a warranty shop for repair. You mess with it and that avoids the warranty.
If your picture was okay when it was running and the screen was not pinkish then the power board inside the monitor is in need of an overhaul. Your unplugging it and plugging it back in just did a temporary reset by discharging the capaciotrs for a bit. It more than likely needs new capacitors installed. I have done a few of these and do a lot of inverter power board repairs through ebay id bammbammfran Fran [email protected]
