Nokia 6300 doesn;t work with sim card

My nokia 6300 just working fine without sim card but when insert sim (any)it turns on but the display goes white. Only the time, battery, networks signs show and others don't show also the buttons don't work at all.Also I tried to reset the factory setting but the security and master code are not working. My seriel no. is 353932/01/921638/8. Please help me ASAP

Nokia 6300 start up without sim
First check that Sim card is working well when insert in another phone.If it is working is well then the problem is the faulty of Sim card or Sim card IC (filter).So, in my opinion if you are not a mobile tech better to contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck.Thanks for visiting fixya

Works fine without sim card. if sim card inserted, flashes unknown icon, interchanged with unread mail icon at the top. then screen goes white several times as if phone just switched on before the phone...
the phone may be coded with a perticular sim, pls try differet sim to know which sims will work if persist go flash away old memory and bring in new memory by flashing device.

you need to have the phone exchanged for a new one or take it to a service center and have the software reflash.
