Our "old fashioned" local hardware store carries a line of several regulators. So, you might try all of your local hardware and/or building supply stores.

I have a Brinkman pro series 6330. I just went and had my tank filled and when I hooked it up and turned the burner on to light it, there was no gas getting to the burners. I tried some of the tricks I...

It's a regulator problem, but one that is usually resolvable by doing the following.

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly after it is installed or you will be back to square one, again.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have an endless summer 92000 table top propane heater. Lights fine, but the flame does not burn at the edge of the burner. Instead, it only burns in the very center of the burner... much like a Bunsen...

Actually, it's a gas pressure issue. But, it's fairly easy to solve. First, you need to be sure that your LP Tank has a sufficient amount of gas. If it does, turn the propane tank valve OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes. Then reconnect the hose to the tank and turn the valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the valve is fully open, light the burner as you normally do and turn the burner flames to HIGH. Has the burner flame returned to normal? If so, you solved the problem. Just remember to always turn the tank valve ON very, very slowly.

If it didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the heater's hose/regulator assembly. Generally, i's the same type that a gas grill uses. So, it won't be hard to find one.

Hope this helped to troubleshoot and solve your problem. Please let me know.

All Pro patio heater modle SPC54PHW, PHB, PHT, PHS. Pilot will not light and burner will not light.I installed a new regulatoe, propane tank is full. Took the gas pipes apart from bottom to top and no...

If your propane tank has an OPD valve.. in other words if when the tank is disconnected and you open the tank valve and no gas escapes..it's an OPD valve..these are pretty much standard especially on the exchangeable tanks.

The problem sometimes is at the connection hose..it too of course must be an OPD connector to depress the internal ring on the tank valve before any gas will come out.

Chances are the knurled knob is either cross threading or is cracked..and won't snug up enough to depress that internal ring on the tank valve. Or you have miss matched components.. unlikely if you bought genuine replacement parts.

The All Pro Heater you have requires a specific part (fitting) to be added when using a universal regulator (Part number 6122) which is a 3/8 connector male.

This of course is assuming you hear no gas hissing.. cannot light it manually..

Sounds simple..but I have seen this problem on outdoor BB'Q's many times.. cracked knob on the connector hose and a few times simply backing it off and putting it back on.. tight enough to depress that ring..

Best of luck!

I purchased a single burner tank top heater from Menards. Every attempt to light it resulted in a loud roar so I exchanged it. The replacement has functioned properly untill recently and now has a loud...

Turn the LP Tank Valve OFF and disconnect the heater from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the heater to the tank. Turn the tank valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (slow motion slow). Nor light the heater and turn it to high. Allow it to burn on high for several minutes, before tuning it to low. If this solved the problem, the OPD tank valve was shooting to much pressure to the heater regulator. Turning it on slowly, helps alleviate that problem.

I need a new regulator with a low med high knob for two burner dyna glo tank top heater propane if tou have how much if not where can I get one thank you

If you don't have an authorized dealer to get a replacement regulator, contact GHP Group Inc, (877) 447-4768. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PROPER HEATER MODEL NUMBER. Replacement Part Number: S2TT0001B for the RMC-TT30DGP.

Here's a link to the manual for eight of their tank-top heaters

Replacement cost including shipping is a couple bits over $21.

When talking to the technician on the phone, he cautioned me against rapidly opening the tank valve, which hammers the regulator (the replacement one is more robust than the original), kinda' like how water-hammer can cause damage to water pipes and/or water appliances. Open the tank valve gently, don't just whip it open (like I used to), your regulator will last a lot longer that way.

Because of the press-fit and pins used in the regulator construction & assembly, self-repair is not possible or recommended since the regulator may not seal correctly afterwards.

Mr heater tank top '' singing ''

I have the same situation. It could be in the regulator. My sounds off when first starts and then I reduce it to low and it stops. Maybe use the low setting and see what happens. If not return it and try a 2 burner instead of the single unit.

The grill won't light although I have a newly filled tank and have used it once with the filled tank with no problem. This is a Weber portable grill.

This is kinda long but it should help you fix your issue:

How long has the grill sat since the last time you used it? If it has sat more than 4 months, check the tank to make sure it still has gas in it.

How did you shut the grill off that first time? Did you turn the burners off and then turned the tank off? If this is what you did, your grill is now "vapor-locked"; don't panic, it is easy to fix!

All you need to do is: 1) Open the tank's valve. 2) Open the burners to high. 3) Close the tank valve. 4) Turn the burners off.

Once you have done this, re-open the tank's valve, then turn the burner on to light the grill. If it doesn't light, repeat the above procedure and try again.

If it still won't light, you may have a bad regulator. You can buy another regulator and test the grill with it; if the grill lights, it was a bad regulator...if the grill doesn't light, you can always return the purchased regulator and get a refund as long as you kept the receipt.

If all of this hasn't fixed it, check your gas lines for any sign of cracking which can contribute to gas leakage. Check your burners, if they are rusty, take a paper clip and run it through each burner hole to clear any obstructions.

If none of this has fixed your issue, you may need to either get replacement parts for your grill or buy a new grill...that choice would be up to you, tho.

I sincerely hope at least SOME of this will be helpful to you...good luck!

Lack of heat

The plates protect the burners and help disperse the flame more evenly across the grill surface. Make sure the tank is completely open (knob on top of tank) and that when the burner is turned up to high, the flames out of the burners are about 1 1/2 to 2" long, mostly blue in color. If they are smaller, and the tank is open all the way, the regulator hose may be defective.
