Your ringer volume may be down or you may have call forwarding or do-not-disturb active. Try adjusting the volume button while not making a call (with the handset on hook). check if any button indicator lights are active on the phone such as call forward or do no disturb.

When calls come into the office ext. 10 rings. It's the receptionist's desk. However ext. 29 rings too. How can I stop ext. 29 from ringing on all incoming calls?

Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Central telephone Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout

How to transfer

While your on the line with the caller, press the Transfr button(above the hold key) then enter in the intercom number of the person you wish to transfer the caller to. You can either wait for the person your transfering the call to to answer his extension before you tranfer the call or you can hang up after you enter the intercom number, either way, when you hang up the phone after entering in the intercom number, the call is transfered to the extension.

Mls12d to turn on local ringer

First of all, is it programmed to ring? From Ext 10 or 11 press FEATURE 00 LIC LIC RIC and dial the extension you want to look at programming. The line buttons will light up. They will be SOLID for RING, SLOW BLINK for DELAY RING, or FAST BLINK for No Ring. Just keep pushing each line button until you get what you need. When you're done, press FEATURE 00.

LIC is LEFT INTERCOM RIC is RIGHT INTERCOM button.

Easy enough :-)

OR, to turn ringing off in system programming:

From ext. 10 or 11, press Feature button, 00, left intercom button twice, right intercom button once. Enter extension number of phone you wish to remove the ringing line from. Light indicators next to line keys show ringing status. Press line keys to desired ringing preference for each line-

Intercome ringing

It sounds like the HFAI button on most of the sets is turned off. the HFAI (hands free answer intercom) button is located to the right of the SPKR key. With the handset down press the HFAI button. The green light next to it should light indicating that it is active. If the power goes out or if the phone is unplugged it will return to HFAI off status. hope that helps.
