A friend has a Pride Ultra X. All the normal things have been checked. It will work intermittently, and sometimes wiggling the wires will bring it back to life.
Tested Batteries, checked fuses, connections, circuit breaker reset, wire continuity to "dash", on/off switch operation, gear lever location. There seems to be an intermittent voltage coming from the module to the on/off switch located under the floor.

Pride Go-Go are a range of scooters in 3 and 4 wheel. With a multimeter, test continuity from pin to pin across the connector. The best idea is to take it to a local dealer as they have access to factory data. The controller wiring is complicated and models of controllers has changed over the years. There is some help in the link but not a lot.
Take the driver side kick panel out an check to see if there are any loose ground connections . Normaly car makers hide connections behind this place . Looking at a wiring diagram mite show that all these thing's work intermittently share a common ground point .
Check out this ground connection
SP202
On the left side of the instrument panel, near the junction block
To find or see this ground you may need to pull out the left fuse block .From the picture ,that's what it looks like .
The intermittent problems are hard to find. Some of the problems are the age of your truck and the testing devices. The Dealers have better tools and there are tools which can be attached to your vehicle and then it is driven and those intermittent warnings are recorded on the better testing tools.
The normal testing tools and the onboard computer in your vehicle require hard set data. At best, some of the later models would accumulate the intermittent defects and then finally set a lasting code that the cheaper scanners will not record.
In explanation about costs of scanners, even hand-held scanners can cost $5000 to start with software updates running $1000 to $2000 annually. But these machines can do things the others don't.
The vibrations on bumps can cause your problems. A wiggle test is performed with your engine running and then wiring wiggled to find the defect. This can be dangerous as hands do not belong where wires go.
If you can get a code to stay, Autozone and other major parts stores scan your vehicle for free.
Rolfe could be a couple of things check the brushes in each motor for excess wear and check to see if the motors are getting overly warm after driving for awhile if they are then you could have a brake problem on one or both of the motors. If your brushes are less than 1/8" long then they need replacing and you can have a provider order some from Pride for you or have them service the motors for you. If it is the brake then it will have to be replaced by a tech who knows what to do if you can get the brake from Pride. Now I'm not suggesting this or recommending this because of safety and liability issues but you could remove the brake from the rear of the motor that is getting hot (if it is) leaving the wiring connected and hang the brake in the rear of the chair so it won't break the wiring and drive the chair to see if that makes a difference. If you remove the brake and wiring then the chair won't move at all because the controller is looking for the brake when you turn on your chair if the wiring is disconnected you will get a fault error and the chair won't move. Also have someone load test your new batteries just because"new" doesn't mean good and a weak battery will reduce distance driven. Hope this helps
You need to secure those wires. Do you have the ability to open where the wires enter? Make sure all electricity is turned off! If there is a warning, don't go there. Wiggle means loose connection that will fail soon. If you can open the area and make the connection firm (buy turning screws or re-wrapping the wire on the contact).
My Pride Colt XL8 keeped cutting out (7 flashes of LED, Speed pot error) , checked all the cable connections up tiller arm as recommended by Pride technical support, worked for about a week, then problem returned.
Eventually took to Pride dealer, with problem occasional occurring, they found it to be the lower tiller cable support bracket straining the cables connector intermittently and so removed the bracket, the problem then was solved !
Assuming it is a P&G controller (it'll say PG Drives technology on the bottom of the joystick), two flashing lights is a left motor disconnect fault. Check the wiring from and to the left motor for tight connections at all junctions. Unplug and replug them, don't just wiggle test them. This should clear the fault.
I sounds like the switch is not making contact relieably. Make sure your key is clean and if that does not work, than the switch inside the console will need to be replaced. Contact Pride Mobility for a technician local to you.
