under the shroud cover there is a bolt that loosens the tension on the belt...be sure the belt sensor "sees" the belt as that is why you have an E-1 error code
HI, Check the following video to know how to align the treadmill belt which is going to one side. All trad mills have the same procedure to align the belt.
1) test your circuit breaker home, reset 2)test the outlet for 115 vac 3)test the power cord if some wires is loose or cutting 4)reset your circuit breaker insider from your equipment 5)Eliminate any extension cord from your treadmill. 6)Be shure if the receptacle have ground cable with your divided TRSS.
Could be several problems. You can isolate the motor and use a DC power source (power tool battery, Lantern battery)to check if the motor is good. If the motor is good then check to see if under the motor hood you have a "Tech Sheet" which should help you with the diagnosis. We use www.treadmillpartszone.com for parts.
If you haven't adjusted the belt refer to your owners manual for the proper procedure if you still have the same results then it could be caused by a lack of lubrication under belt or a worn belt.
If the tread is migrating from the left you need to adjust the tension adjustment on the right and side of the roller and make it tighter
Most adjustments are made by turning a set screw that moves the idler roller ( the roller that is at the end of the tread mill which is where you first get on)
TO ADJUST:
1 TURN THE POWER OFF AND UNPLUG AT WALL OUTLET
2 Locate the adjustment screw( remember you will adjust the side opposite the migration to tighten the roller)
3 manually force the treadmill belt over toward the proper path( I do this by taking my hand and sliding my fingers under the belt and lift the belt as I hand roll it
4 Turn the adjustment screw counter clockwise one revolution
5 plug in then turn on and see if it stays in place
6 Keep repeating the process ( steps 1,2,3,and 4 )
