W have a beko dpu8360 tumble dryer. The motor belt broke about 2 months ago and we replaced it. The same thing has happened again and the motor belt (not the big dryer belt, the small one attached to motor) has parted along the belt, I.e not broke in half just split. Not sure if to replace again or not as obviously something else is causing this to happen. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Lesley, how did you replace the little belt, same problem here with my DCU7230W. Took apart and small belt frayed but cannot for the life of me see how to get a new one over the engine spindle, thanks ;-)

Check the roller the drum runs in, typically they burn out their bearings and cause the belt issue

My Beko tumble dryer has stopped working. Lights are on as if everything is ok but the cycle just won't start.

Could be improper voltage, thermal fuse, control board, door switch, wiring, motor, and maybe a few things I’m leaving out.

Hi, I have a Beko DRCT70W tumble dryer and the belt keeps breaking. I've replaced it twice in the last month, so I think there must be another fault with the dryer which is causing this. The drum...

hi folks the beko tumble dryers have a felt seal that runs along the front of the drum that wears through causing load on the drum, belt and motor causing the belt to melt and snap, replace the felt you will have no more issues, i got mine off of ebay pretty cheap

DRUM NOT TURNING ON BEKO TUMBLE DRYER. JUST OUT OF WARRANTY.

Check your drum belt, sometimes this belt is broken or slipped off the motor pulley or idler arm pulley.
Also could be a faulty motor..
Another thing to try is to turn the drum by reaching inside of the drum and turning it by hand 1/4-1/2 turn with the dryer off. Then turn the dryer on again and see if it works.
Motors will sometimes get a dead zone in them and this help move it from the dead zone.
