My lights on my mazda don't work right. I had the driver headlight replaced and now when I use the signals the 4way flashers come on with them. when I turn the headlights on at night the break lights

I took out the back lights to see if they were broke or blackened but they were ok so I put them back in

I DONT THINK REPLACING THE LIGHT HAD ANY THING TO DO WITH THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A SHORT IN THE WIRING. I WOULD START BY REPLACING THE SWITCH

Testimonial: "thank you we tried that but it doesn't help the lights still give me grief"

Right front side turn signal does not work replaced all bulbs and checked fuses headlight flashers work when hazards are on front to back except driverside turn signal ,in dash right stays solid left

I don't believe it would be a bad ground for just one light. It could be a wire, a socket connector, or the bulb socket itself. See if the wire has power at the socket when signaling left, with key on. If there is power, probably a bad socket or connector. If no power, check for power coming from flasher-the wire going to front left, or driver's side. If you have power from the flasher, but nothing at the socket, the wire has probably broken.
Good luck.

How do i change my signal switch in my 1993 mazda 929

Hi Shannon, befor you dive in and replace the indicator switch I would suggest you check the flasher unit. To replace the indicator switch you will need to remove the steering wheel (this usually means using a puller) Don't forget to punch match marks on the steering wheel and the column which must be aligned when assembling. Remove the steering wheel center cover. then the covers on the steering column Removed the screws (usually four) holding the stalk switch. don't forget to disconnect the battery and the wiring connection to the stalk switch. After replacing the assembly is opposite.to dismantling. Regards John

Turn signals don't work

Yes...Whatever you want to call them, there are two flasher units. Depending upon year, the 4way is usually on the fuse panel, the turn flasher may also be there, or up under dash on driver side, or, on newer vehicles there is a combination flasher module usually located on the right side under dash near the steering column.

Can't find the turn signal or emergency flasher fuse for 1998

Conrad, up north.
My protege is a '99. The turn signals and hazard flashers use the same flasher unit. It is located under the dash to the left of the steering wheel and above and a bit to the right right of the driver's side fuse box.
