this issue relates to a temporary power failure (EG: storm knocking out the power or that a breaker has tripped) this can be fixed by pressing the power key on the dish washer and the error code should clear if not contact samsung for a replacement control board
An LE error code on your dishwasher stands for "LEaking."
There is, what I call, a drip pan on the bottom that the water is dripping into. Remove your dishwasher and take off the lower the side panels to get a look inside the drip pan. If you have water in there, try to find out where it's coming from.
If there are no signs of water, tip the dishwasher over on its side and remove the plastic panel on the bottom of the dishwasher. Once removed, you can disconnect the connector to the leak sensor (it's mounted upside-down, with 4 wires coming out of it. If I remember right, the wires are blue and red).
Flip the dishwasher back upright and plug it in and see if your LE error code pops back on. If it pops back on, then you have a bad board. If it doesn't, then you either have a leak, or the "fangs" on the leak detector are shorting out, somehow.
I had the same problem. Mine also 2yrs old. Issue started when washing dishes and it did not complete the grind and drain cycle. I tossed in 3 efferdent tablets that I use to clean all kinds of household grim with; that stuff works great on thermos mugs so I figured it might work to clean out any cloggings here too. It sat for about 15mins and then I tried to drain it again and it finally unclogged itself and now it works fine again. Probably something is getting clogged and not self-cleaning. I tried to completely disassemble the insides afterwards and you do not want to know the junk I found lingering under some of these parts which was not a good sign for the engineering group who designed this thing. Anyways I cleaned everything best I could but the issue came back a month later now again. I'm thinking it is in the pump. I plan to disassemble the pump and check it out because it too has been making a lot more noise than it did originally - its fighting something - and maybe going bad. Looking at the parts online with a new pump being around $200 its probably not worth the risk. I'll buy a new washer before I invest that much. Probably go back to my fav Kitchenaid - that was a great washer; never had an issue and it had a grinder too but was more expensive. Hope the efferdent idea gets you going again.
This
error can sometimes present because of a miscommunication between the
control panel and the wash motor. In this instance, the washer simply
needs to be reset.
Step 1: Unplug the washing machine. Step 2: While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for 5 seconds. Step 3: Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the LE code is cleared.
Are there soap suds visible in the drum? Over-sudsing
is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high efficiency)
detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor. In
addition, detergent residue can also cause leaking and odor. Follow
these steps to resolved an LE error code caused by over-sudsing.
Step 1: Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve. Step 2: Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer. Step 3: Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected. Step 4: Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle. Step
5: After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items
from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and
then press [Start/Pause]. This will remove excess soap suds and light
residue from the drum. Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the
drum of the washer.
Try waiting it out - some dishwashers like to run a rinse first to get off the easy stuff, then it starts the wash cycle. Let it run it's cycle and see if it works.
I have the same problem with my dmr77. My coffee pot ran over and evidently ran down behind the Samsung dishwasher. It thinks that it is leaking. How do you reset it?
Try unplugging the unit for a few minutes. Then plug back in. If not try the Power button. I have an SE code (drainage problem) and my machine stops running altogether.
