While it is possible your tablet has a software glitch it is equally possible the electronic circuitry that receives the wifi signal is broken.
If you are certain your internet router is producing a strong wireless signal it will be time to take your tablet in for service/repair or return it to the supplier if it is under warranty.
You have an issue with your network. have you changed the orientation of your transmitter? Is it as high as possible for best signal strength? The wi fi chip/ circuit in pad could also have gone south. Happens.

Probably location from Wifi router. I know some of the areas of my older home don't receive a good signal. Check your wifi bars and see if this is a problem due to only one green bar showing as a connection. Rich
You likely have a setting to turn on WiFi. This option is to save your battery, as WiFi drains your battery if it is on continuously. If it is turned off, you will never receive a WiFi signal.

You can try forgetting your network and then joining it again by going to settings, WiFi, the network you are on, then "forget this network", then find it again and join it. If that doesn't work, then you could reset all your network settings by going to your settings, general, reset, then press "Reset Network Settings".
