Without the serial number I can not say exactly, but the only reference I can find (and the fact that no one sells this exact model anymore) puts the age at 13-14 years old. These were made in 2001.

The location of the model number depends on the type of washing machine. I have sent a photo to show the different location options. I hope this helps!
The GE has a capacity of 3.3 cubic feet. You did not list the model of the kitchenaid. Make sure the GE was stored correctly because if it might have lost oil or gotten brittle belts or gaskets. Also it might have frozen.
The most common leak in a KitchenAid washer is from the water pump. The easiest way to see is slightly tilt it up with a small load. If there are many clothes and water in the tub it will be to heavy. Get a light, and tilt the washer up a few inches. Prop it up with something even. Now, lay on the floor and as the washer is running watch for the water leak. The pump is at the front of the washer, directly in the middle. so it's only about 1-2 inches behind the front of the cabinet. I would be very surprised if it was anything but the pump.
The pump you will need is one of two. I've looked up your model number. After the KAWS750L there is either a Q or a T followed by a number. That letter and number make the difference. This pump can be bought for as low as $40 up to $70. It depends on the pump, and where you buy it from :)
The Kitchenaid website doesn't recognize the model number you gave. Could it possibly be KFP760? If so, then here's a link to the free downloadable manual.
make sure that the program is not on the "Intermittent Agitate Program". that would be the cause of the delay.
the other issue would be the timer itself. the timer is mechanical, so once the contact on it is corroded, it will only function intermitently or not at all.
