Where can i get spare parts for my benQ XL2410T monitor

If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). the benq's im sorry to say but are problematic to say the least

try this...

1. unplug the monitor and flip it forward so its screen side down on a towel.
2. remove the screws from the back of the monitor and then take a flat head screwdriver and gently pry the back/front bezels apart.
3. after the back part and the front part are apart, look at front half of the bezel, there will be a Circuit board that is attached to it. follow the wire that is coming off the circuit board back to where it plugs in to the metal part.
4. firmly press the connector that at the end of that wire down into the connector.
5. put the monitor back together, and test the buttons.

if that does not work then you might have a serioulsy problem such as burnt component.

I believe they are two 1000uf 16 volt... there are two side by side and they are tall.

dreaded capacitor issue. benq's were famous for it. if you are handy with disassembly and careful you can take it apart and do it yourself. look for any capacitors with rounded tops. i fixed one ... the part is only two dollars or so but it's a good feeling to know you fixed it instead of tossing it.

Try to re-solder the inverter part of the board. You may recognize that part where the 4 connectors from the backlight tubes can be found.... usually the small transformators (sorry, my technical English is not good) have bad soldering eyes after longer use. This may work if backlight turns on for a few seconds, then the power led is still alight but screen goes dark.... the inverter then "thinks" one of the tubes might be defective and turns power off. Hope this helps a little...

The parts list..Here we go again =)

1. 4x 2SC5705 (can also be 706 as well)
2. Bridge capacitors (near the transistors) - Replace
3. Transformers (can be either 4 or 2 used) - Resolder
4. Fuse link (Marked with prefix FBxxx top middle of the board) - Replace
5. 2x Diodes (close to transistors, one for each pair.) - Test

Start with those and if you still have issues post back with a photo of your board from both sides.

You have BenQ syndrome.
Sounds strange I know, but the power supply in your monitor is a BenQ manufactured part.
The problem is in the inverter section of the power/inverter board.
There are 4 small transistors (marked C5707) 1 or possibly 2 of these will have shorted out. Using a multimeter find the shorted one, and replace both of that pair, even if only one is shorted out.
There could also be other underlying issues as well that caused the transistor to fail in the first place.

You have a serious problem. ie. only the back light is working in your monitor. You might need to replace the TFT associate components.

Different faults here.
First fault is no power, it is bad capacitors on the power board.

Second & third faults are the inverters. (power but no image visible, but feint if you shine a light into the screen)
Check the 4 transistors on the main power board for shorts.

If you are unsure what that means, then take it to your local TV technician, he should be able to solve it fairly cheaply.
