My card model is PA3171U-1MPC. It is called a Toshiba Mini PCI card. What I am having problems with is getting the card to be recognized by Windows XP. The best it can get is calling it an Ethernet controller. Windows claims it cannot find the driver files for it. The problem is I have already downloaded the LSI Drivers and it didnt work. Can you please send me a link or something that will help a novice like me get my card up and running
there are none available. somehow its lost its ability to communicate with the driver ,more than likely from a virus that wuold be contained by a virus software update. save your files to a flash drive or disk and run the factory restore disks that came with you pc or run the image program from the hard drive. tutorial to both processes can be seen at the toshiba web site under support

I Installed the card and configured the network, it will connect, but i get NO SIGNAL!!! very frustrating! Do i need to update the driver? the driver is pretty damn old (7/1/01), and to be honest i dont want to DL just anything off the internet. and i can't find this model on the Toshiba website. i have already sunk many hours on just searching. I have a Del B130, OS -XP, i also just installed new memory (1 gig) Device manager says the hardware is working properly. Any advice would be appreciated...Greatly!!! Thanx in advance! jen Got a Toshiba wireless minipci card for my Satellite A10. Installs fine, but hardware manager doesn't recognize it. None of the drivers ont he Toshiba CD seem to work.
