You will have to train the IR which will require reading how to do that with your receiver or you can add air play which is a control system for I devices that bridge the control for you easily

That unit is not setup for iPad control. You can plug the audio out from the iPad to either the front audio in or CD/Tape IN using a 3.5 M to RCA M cable/adapter

How do i restore my denon avvr-1609 back to factory default??

Not familiar with that model. I used the Denon pro DRA397 units on my jobs. But it my be the same for you.

The reset was as follows. If it works give me a thumbs up.

Power off and not in stand by, hold down the speakers a and b buttons at the same time. Then turn on the hard power button while holding the a and b down. The display will start to flash across the entire screen. Release the buttons and the unit should reset.

Denon AVR 1609 volume Zone 2

Logitech recommends that zone 2 is controlled using device mode on your Harmony remote. Controlling zone 1 and zone 2 simultaneously within activities may lead to the AV Receiver turning on and off unexpectedly as you switch between activities. For example, if you try to turn on zone 2 within an activity, it may turn on or off zone 1 and vice versa. Controlling zone 2 in device mode will prevent this from happening.

Can't Get 360 to Work

Your receiver is not capable of upconverting analog to HDMI (digital). You will need to add component video cables either from the Denon to the TV or simply straight to the TV from the XBox. Audio should be handled solely by the Denon receiver.

Unable to get ps3 to play when hooked to receiver

The audio inputs on the receiver need to be set to receive the Optical signal on the switch you set the ps3 to. ie Game, DVD, AUX. Each switch needs to be set to receive the audio signal coming into it. Usually on the remotes setup feature.

No dish network sound through denon 1609 receiver

check the setting for the HDMI connection at the Denon you may have to assign the HDMI audio setting also on the front of the Denon while in the DVR mode press the input mode button on the front of the Denon to select auto and if that doesn;t give you sound you will have to connect a cable from the DVR optical.coaxial or analog audio output to the Denon and setup for that type of audio connection

No sound when ps3 is hooked up to a denon avr 1609

The 1609 only has video on the HDMI. No audio comes through the HDMI cables. Hook up an optical cable between your ps3 and the receiver and you should be good to go.
