My samsung f480 has really bad reception all the time. how can i fix this problem???

your samsung SGH-F480 mobile needs reformatting/reprogramming samsung service center can fixed it or go to cell shop nearest you

Is either bad battery, or bad phone, only way to test is get new battery, if problem is NOT solved, phone is faulty, must repair, or replace.

Voicemail, e-mail, and other saved Memo's and such DO effect the SMS/MMS memory, sadly. So, start deleting what you REALLY do not need. Thats the best option.

This is actually really easy to fix and it is in the manual. What you have to do once the phone is idle is adjust the volume on the left side of the phone to zero and this shoud quiet your key tones.

Camera test mode:
Press *#36287# key string in the dial screen to enter camera test mode -
[1] Auto focus [On]
[2] ISP firmware write
[3] ISP firmware version check

[1] Press the "1" key to disable auto focus. In order to enable auto focus, press the "1" key again.

[2] Press the "2" key to write the ISP (Camera Module) firmware. “ISP firmware write [Please wait]” will be displayed during 2 minutes. Then "ISP firmware write [SUCCESS]” will be displayed when the firmware upload finished.

You can enter the hard reset code but that will delete everything on the phone the code is *2767*3855# i haven't been able to find the password reset for the F480.
The default password for the Samsung F480 is 12345678.
