My screen won't light up. When I start up, I see a very dim, reddish Toshiba start logo, and although everything else loads and starts up, the screen remains black. If I light the screen from the side...

Hi...
Its either a broken/loose wire on your invertor,or your inverter may have given up the ghost...they are easy enough to replace and quite cheap in ebay....just put the make and model of your laptop on ebay...and there should be plenty on there for anywhere between £10-30...and it,s about 30 min-60 min job depending on your experience
