In the sound setup screen select optical out to send the sound to the sound bar instead of the speakers.

SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC-37P50E connected to computer with HDMI cable

Hi,

I got the chat , but some how it got disconnected.
But i would like to help you in this aspect.
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and supports transmission of both audio and video in high fidelity.

First make sure these things,

Both your computer and your TV will need to support HDMI interface.
It's quite a recent thing in PC graphics cards, so you may have to resort to S-Video, DVI or VGA for the video, plus a 3.5mm stereo cable (or the optical TOSLINK equivalent) for the sound.

Let know your comments and i will follow up with the suggestions.
Thanx for using fixya,
Good luck.

SOURCE: No Digital Audio From Sharp LC-37D64U

Try changing the the Audio Setup in the Digital Setup Menu.
If you have your manual, go to pg 11 and pg 28 for Digital Audio Output. If you need a copy of your manual, here's the link.
http://www.sharpusa.com/products/TypeManuals/0,1083,127,00.html
Page 11 has info on the problem and page 28 to solve it.
If that doesn't work, I would try downloading the latest software to fix is problem. Page 28

SOURCE: Have DVI cable plugged in how do i get audio

There should be a HDMI input on the Sharp Aquos with audio inputs next to it. Run a audio cable from the audio out of the satellite box to that audio in next to the HDMI input.
I hope this helps,

Probably won't work. The audio amplifier in the TV isn't strong enough to connect external speakers. It would be best to use a sound bar using the optical connection.

How to connect sharp HT-SB350 to Sharp LC-42D69U

You may have to use the optical cable connections. Make sure there is an optical out on the tv and on the sound bar. Get an optical cable to connect them and go to the audio setup screen and direct the sound from internal speakers to optical out.

Television isnt working correctly

Are you changing the Video Input selector to the proper HDMI port? AKA the SOURCE button.
Couldn't decipher if you said that you've used another console with HDMI video on the Sharp Aquos already.

How do i connect audio from satellite receiver into sharp aquos tv

If you are using an HDMI cable the sound and audio will be in the same connector. If you are not then you must run an audio (stereo both L + R) cable from your satellite receiver to the audio input of your television.

If you are using a S-Video cable it only carries the picture and not sound.
In that case it also requires an audio cable as well as a video cable.

No reason for the audio not to work on the RF cable. Check under menu and option and make sure audio is set to fixed and not variable.
