Dreamland electric double blanket suddenly stopped working after making bed in the morning.

Plugging in again from blanket end rather than wall socket. checked fuse in wall plug, but it was not blown, because I tested it, and received visual feedback, it was working. Changed fuse anyway, no change. I believe a wire inside the blanket has become disconnected, although it could also be the controller. The wire theory is favoured since this the fourth or fifth time with other blankets from Dreamland. Controllers are digital.

HOW DO I GET MUCH MORE HEAT, WHEN GETTING VERY LITTLE HEAT FROM DREAMLAND DOUBLE ELECTRIC OVERBLANKET WITH DUAL CONTROLS.

Dual controls implies that the blanket has two separate heating circuits. Do you experience the same problem on each side? If not, you may have a faulty thermostat. If so, it may be a faulty controller or power supply issue.

Dreamland Imetec blanket.1 side controller flashes red.Swapped controllers, problem still there.Seems confined to 1 side of the bed as both controllers work fine on the 'good' side but neither work(ie. both...

I have been getting over this problem by operating the switch slider very rapidly. Sometimes it has to be done back and forwards a dozen times before the light stops flashing.

"Double" electrical switch has failed to function

In a standard 3-way switch arrangement you can turn the light on or off from each position.  If the wall switch has failed then only the bed switch will turn the light on/off.  Replace the wall switch with a new 3-way switch.

Sunbeam 4267-000 not turning on just blinking red

"FF" or a blinking light will display meaning “Fault Found”. The “fault” is in the amount of power available to the blanket, mattress pad or throw.
There are several causes to this problem:
1. Bedding product is plugged into an extension cord, surge protector, power strip, or not plugged into a direct wall outlet.
2. Bedding product wasn't plugged in properly.

To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your bedding product:
1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual bedding product itself.
3. Re-plug the cord into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

If the 4 steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not properly reset.

My Sunbeam electric blanket controls blink when I plug the control cable into the blanket. I cannot turn the controls on or off.

Same problem, but now it is ok.  I emailed Sunbeam and was told that if my blanket was not plugged directly into a wall outlet it was not getting enough power and I needed to plug it into a wall outlet taking these steps:
1) Unplug from the surge protector/extension cord 2) Unplug from the blanket 3) Plug back into the blanket 4) Plug into a wall outlet
