Manual network search

My blackberry keeps saying searching for network, can i switch it to manual search?

By going to the Options (Wrench icon) then Click. Scroll to Network, Click. Scroll to Network Selection, Click. A pop-up box with Change Option, click and choose Manual and then Save.

My blackberry says no signal

Remove your device battery, insert the appropriate SIM card and then restart your handheld. Next, open up your Manage Connections options again. Select Mobile Network Options and then change the Network Technology from 1XEV to GSM/UMTS. (Remember, if you want to go back to CDMA, you need to switch back the network technology option.)

your internal board is bad. its not picking up signal. Recommended a new phone at this point.

My 7290 blackberry mobile couldn't receving the signal

it might be blocked, try other simcards, check the network settings and click on manual so it searches them for you

On my blackberry it says 'off' where the signal bar is ment to be and when i try and send a message it says radio is off?? what do i need to do?

your wireless mode is off. so enable it by going to Manage Connections than you will see there mobile networks, just select mobile networks and you sim should start searching for networks.

Unlocking the blackberry 7100i

You should always get your phone unlocked by asking the provider before canceling the service with them. You say your traveling abroad and they usually will unlock it without hastle. within 24-48 hrs

Also watch when switching networks, some phones were designed to work only on certain networks as some require sim cards some do not.

Signal problem

i have a t-mobile dash and it always stays on searching or 2 bars but they go and come back please tell me wat should i do to fix this problem

1- select your network manual in your handset

2-try another sim card ,so that your either there is problem in your sim card
