hi :) if not wrong yr phone model is N79 right ?? http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_N79-1_UG_en.pdf here is a web about n79 user guide,that have anything u wan inside. ok,once u login the web page already. choose SETTING then click on Phone setting. it will show u how to change your phone language. TIPS here.i understand your phone were in wrong language now,u try to find in yr phone setting,even in a wrong langauge u don understand. it should showing start from 'L' try it :) good luck..

managed it with the help of the quick guide, rather than the instruction booklet, which was rather long winded. and not at all clear to me, thanks for offer of help.

I didn't fully understand the question; however, I assume that you have a key pad that is cracked or makes creek noises when buttons are being pressed.

If this is NOT and accurate understanding of your question, you can stop reading now; however, If this is an accurate understanding of your situation, see "Change the cover" on page 11 in the User Guide. It's under the "1. Getting Started" section in the guide's table of contents. You can view the User Guide online for free at Nokia's website.

Once you have removed the front cover, you can remove, clean and/or replace the keypad as needed.
