I bought my new yamata sewing machine model 588,i just used it for 3days but when i tried to sew the next day the thread get into the shuttle race and it hard to sew anything please help me as you can see...

There are two black plastic locks on each side (shown with errors). Turn them to release the front ring. Pull the ring and whats behind it out then clear your jam.
If the black plastic knobs are too hard to turn then loosen the philips screw that hold them a little then retighten when done.

Error Code 88 - when I adjust the embroidery unit

Usually the owner's manual will list the most common error codes in the Troubleshooting Section. It is difficult for anyone to help diagnose your problem without the make and model of your machine.

Here are a couple of web sites that may be helpful:

There are more videos available through YouTube re using your machine. If the above didn't help, there may be others that are more helpful.

I have a Bernina 830 and it is locked with error message shown on p. 178 of the manual. Explanation is incorrect needle for the stitch plate selected. I have a Bernina 80 universal needle, the...

I don't have a good answer for you but I would remove both needle and plate, turn off and unplug machine for 10 minutes, replace needle and plate and 'reboot' the machine by turning it on and see if that clears any corrupted memory.

F4 code

Usually the error codes are shown as like E4 which would be E4: You hit the reverse button while the bobbin winder shaft was moved over to the right. Move the bobbin winder shaft to the left. If you have any further questions or feel that the error is an F error code instead of an E error code message me back and I will look futher into your F error code but even if you click this link which will bring you to the brother error message site click here http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us/en/faq/faqh/000000/000000/000064/faqh000064_000.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=hf_ce5000eus&Cat=56 it still basicly says the same thing and the errors are shown as E's. I await your reply if you have any further questions Thanks Rick

Owner's manual

I found a website for you that might help. They have a lot of kenmore manuals including one similiar to your model#148.12051. The manual opened as model 1205 so maybe searching for your model as the 1201 might help too. hope this helps! =)

Bobbin threading

hi! well! everything is gonna be fine, make sure the thread was wine on clockwise rotation as shown on figures if this similar to your bobbins anyway this is just a sample how to set up bobbinsf1d210b.jpgthe thread is inserted on slot of bobbins case to acquire a tension tread. then hold bobbins on spindle while the needle of machine is on higher position.as shown on figures2320d1b.jpgthen inset this on shuttle hook case as shown on figures.d60bb50.jpgthen after bobbins was set up on shuttle case the thread of bobbins will hook up by the thread of needle by rotating the handwheel manually by your hand be sure the top thread was set up properly.just let me know if the procedure can help.

My white speedylock serger 1634 thread keeps getting in knots

i have the book and it says thread from inside out, inside looper (upper) then lower, then thread the needles, first right then left.  I have found that it does not matter if you thread the needles or loopers first but that you should try to thread from inside to out.
