Question about HP PSC 1350v All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printer will not turn on

I have an HP PSC 1350 All-in-One color printer. It was been a wonderful printer and rarely causes me any problems. I used the printer yesterday and it was fine and then I went to print today and the printer on/off light is OFF and it will not turn back on. I have checked all the cords leading out from the printer and in to the surge protector. All are plugged in properly and all other equipment plugged into the same surge protector are working properly. Has this ever happened before? The printer is only 3 years old...I would think that this printer has a longer life than that. Can you give me any suggestions of why this happeded and what I may be able to do in order to fix it. Thank you.

My hp psc 1350v all-in-one printer~scanner~copier will not scan or print. I've had it for over five years. It stopped scanning two years ago, which wasn't a huge deal. But now it won't make copies and that's a problem. Is there anything I can do aside from chucking out the window of my 4th floor apt and buy a new one?

The all-in-one product will not turn on If the all-in-one will not turn on at all, follow the steps below in order to determine the cause:

  1. Verify that there is power at the wall outlet.
  2. Verify that the computer and the all-in-one product have a three-prong power plug.
  3. Remove the product cable from any power strips or surge suppressors, and plug it directly into a grounded (three-prong) wall outlet.
  4. For models that have an external power supply module, verify that the power supply module is plugged in correctly. Some power supply modules have a green LED built into the connector end or on the power supply module. This LED will be lit if power is present. If the LED is not lit, replace the power supply module.
  5. Plug the power cord into a different electrical outlet.
  6. If the all-in-one has an ADF with an external cable plugging into the back of the product:
    1. Turn off the unit.
    2. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
    3. Unplug the ADF cable from the back of the product.
    4. Plug the ADF cable to the back of the product.
    5. Plug in the power cable to the wall outlet, and turn on the power.
      • If no change, the problem is not the ADF.
      • If the problem clears, turn off the all-in-one, unplug the power cable, and plug in the ADF.
      • If the error returns, the ADF is defective. Contact HP Customer Care to get the ADF replaced.
  7. Unplug the USB or parallel communication cable from the back of the all-in-one and try to power up the all-in-one. The computer may be grounding out through the communications cable. If this corrects the issue, check the grounding of the computer and outlet. If the above steps did not resolve your issue, contact HP for additional issue verification or the servicing of your product.

Cant find hp psc 1350 on list of hp printers

HP "series" numbering can be somewhat confusing, but Windows 7 does have the correct driver for your printer.
For the HP PSC 1350, you will need to use the 1300 series driver.

The 1310 series driver is for models numbered 131x (e.g., 1315, 1318).

Cannot connect 1350 printer with windows 7

The printer PSC 1350 is not compatible with Windows 7.

We can directly plug and play it to use the Printing Part.
And in order to scan, only way to do is through Windows Application.

There are different softwares and ways to scan, use as per your choice.

My hp 1350 will not print in color

have you set the defaults to print in B&W maybe.
go to start/settings/printer
open the printer control
select printer preferences and see if it is default to color.
