Re: wazim (exbox)
No red lights, no previous error msgs, and video output on the box has just died. playing halo yesterday and mid-game the colours went askew (like a green overlay) with horizontal banding, backing out to the dash solved nothing so after a reboot there was simply no video. troubleshooted the tv and cables and its definately the box. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=625804

Ok. Sometimes there is a problem in the power brick. This is the little box on the cable that connects to the wii console. Here's the trick to try to reset it: First, unplug the cable from both the wii and the wall outlet. Leave it unplugged for at least 30 minutes. Then, proceed to plug it back into the wii and then plug it into the power outlet. If the trick doesn't work and your wii still won't power on, you may need a replacement power supply for it. I have added an Amazon link. Hope this helps you out!
You need to either clean the laser and try again, and if that doesn't help you need to replace the laser. Sometimes it's just that hair or fibers get in the dvd drive motor and it won't spin. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in and try it, it just might work.
You should try leaving the console flat while playing, if you haven't done that already. Keep it in a spot where it will receive no disturbance from outside sources. Another cause could be due to over usage. Limit the amount of hours spent playing.
