How do i know if my router is locked so no one

If you have a WIRELESS Router you must make sure that you have a PERSONAL password key installed to prevent people from accessing your internet from an area around your place. The password or KEY supplied with the router is'nt safe because somebody could have made a note of it before it got into your hands. If it is a CABLE router ONLY then (if no-one else is connected by cable to it) you are quite safe.

You will need to check your owners manual and go through setting up the router. Most routers come ready to use without protection. You will need to configure it using the steps indicated in the manual.
