Every vehicle has there own tool for removing the stereo from the dash. It is basically an insert tool that depresses tabs on the sides or tops and releases the unit. CARQUEST usually has all makes and models of these tools and they are only a couple of bucks.

How to replace brake booster

Unbolt the master cylinder from the booster, then unbolt the booster from the firewall, removing the vacuum line from the booster also. hanging the pedals, you need to remove a keeper fron the pivot bar under dash that the pedals hang from. Then push the pivot pin out to drop the pedals.

Trying to find a replacement for my 12

Do you want to replace your old chicago forge 12"? You can get a replacement from where you bought the old one. If it's not under warranty, prepare the bucks for it.

I have round shaped keys that may belong to a JVC changer which I sold. Does this sound familiar? Are they perhaps used to put the changer together? D.

These are the keys used for pulling out the set from the in dash mountings. hence is you have sold the carrs it will be useful for theparty to remove the set from the dash. However this is available with most of the service centres. This will not have any use to you but for any JVC car audio customer. Hope you find the buyer. Good day

why instead you try connect to dvd RECORDR and make a dvd on it then finalize it on it and play it where ever you want. I did it. It works perfectly for me and more convienient with space on dvd and there is no need for software. Good luck

JVC KD-G420 in 2000 Toyota Tocoma

today's in-dash cd players are a 2 part mounting system. One part is the carrier chassis that is hard mounted to the dash. Then the cd player slides into part 1 and latches. To remove player from part 1, insert 2 long and narrow metal tools along each side to un-latch the player. The tools come with a new unit. To make these, try making them out of 1/16 inch thick metal and trimming to following dimensions: 6 inches long by 1/2 inch wide and at one end, narrow down to about 1/8 inch about 1 inch from the end. deburr all edges. This 2 part system is designed for anti-theft defense.
