Look for the brake light switch. Many times it is located on the brake master cylinder. A wire may have come lose or the switch might have gone bad. If the switch is bad, you may want to have a mechanic or shop replace it. Brake fluid is messy and corrosive and especially bad for rubber parts.

Have you checked the bulbs? do the front driving lights come on?
if the front lights come on but not the tail, then it could be that the bulbs are burnt

How do you find short from fuse box on 99 Cadillac Deville works the tail lights, hazard, headlights, blinkers, cruise, brake lights, coolant fans?? All fuses checked good.

Hi Mary ANN , need some clarification ,the fuse's for all these thing's you have listed , the tail lights, hazard, headlights, blinkers, cruise, brake lights, coolant fans are good ? If good what makes you think you have a short ? Explain ! Are these thing's not working ? That wouldn't mean you have a short . You could have a bad ignition switch !

My 1994 pontaic grand am all of a sudden my dash lights dont turn on or hazzards or tail lights but blinkers and break lights work just fine any ideas?

Do the headlights still work? Double check all the fuses. The actual headlight switch could be bad. It's common for the multifunction switches to go bad.

My brake lights and rear blinkers are not working. I have replaced the bulbs in both brake lights. What next?

most blinkers uses relays, and when they flashes fast one light is out, but you replaced your burnt bulb might be a bad relay.

Tail lights stop working ive change fuse, bulbs, check relay it all check fine turn, brake, hazzards lights all work just the tail & inside cluster lights are not working please help.

The tail lights and dash lights are on two different circuits. The main link would be the headlight switch. I would check for voltage there first.

My rear tail light blinker wont come on

CHECK AND SEE IF THE BRAKE LIGHTS WORK,IF SO CHECK FUSES.IF THE FUSES ARE GOOD YOU MAY NEED A FLASHER.IF THEY WORK WITH THE HAZZARD LIGHTS ON BUT NOT WITH THE TURN SIGNAL,YOU NEED A FLASHER.

No tail lights.

You need to test for power with a test light at the tail light bulb, If you have power it could be a bad bulb or ground. IF you do not have power then trace the circuit back to the light switch.
