if your vertical section of your mother board has a vertical adjustment trimmer, adjust it to reach your desired vertical size..if doesn\'t have, increase the resistance of the resisitor only connecting from cold ground to the negative of the e.cap and the positive pin of e.cap connecting to the line 1 of the vertical focusing coil. the common value of the resistor you would focuse is 1ohm, try add with .5 or 1 ohm depending with vertical size result.
You either got a defective DMD chip or the problem moved to your light engine or main board as well. To find out if it is light engine side or main board side you will check like this.
Turn off TV. If the line go away when the picture goes out, then the problem is on your main board. If the lines stay for a second or 2 after the picture goes out, the either your engine is bad, or you received a defective DMD chip.
Ok the black vertical line about 2 in could be a small crack within the set. Most time if you look hard there is what looks like a scratch that goes perpendicular to the line. I think it would be more simple if you us an external source like a cable box or even a dvd/vcr with the tuner attach. The problem is you don't have a tuner in the monitor. You would have to change the inside boards, if there is no hole for the tuner to exit out of your set then you would have to create one. If there is a hole that the tuner come through, then inside that is the board that needs replacing with a tuner board. Hope this helps
1. Your issue could be several things here a. The ribbon cable to the LCD screen is not attached securely to the board internally. 2. You have a malfunction video card also internal to the mother board 3. the luminous tube or inverter ( internal ) has gone bad and need repair.
IF THERE IS WHITE VERTICAL LINES IN YOUR PROJECTION THEN REMOVE THE MOTHER BOARD AND REFIT THE BOARD OR U CAN JUST PRESS IT FROM UPPERSIDE THE PROBLEM WILL SOLVE OUT
