Windows 8 and 8.1 require a different setup process than the predecessors. http://www.howtogeek.com/188252/everything-you-need-to-know-about-signing-into-windows-8.1/

You have to set up an account, either a Microsoft or a local account. Microsoft accounts are online accounts. Local accounts are the traditional style of Windows user account. Your user account name and password are stored only on your computer. To use OneDrive, desktop settings sync, or other account-based features, you need a Microsoft account rather than a local user account. You can change your account choice later but you must set up one or the other.

How do you set up an account? By the ADD USER function. As I am the primary person using and configuring my computer, I make my account an administrators account.

How do I delete my Facebook account off one computer on to a new computer that I recently bought? When I delete it off here I don't want it deleted from my new computer?

Just log into Facebook on the other computer, you don't have to do anything with the old computer except make sure it's not set to log in automatically so somebody else could use it.

AFTER I PUT MY PASSWORD IN AND IT IS ACCEPTED TO LOG ON TO COMPUTER IT GOESE TO A BLANK SCREEN I HAVE A G505

looks as though the user profile might be corrupt. Try booting into safe mode or another user log in. If you can access safe mode create another account. Reboot computer normally and log into the new account. If new account works then you have a corrupt user account that would need to be fixed or just transfer all data to new account and remove old account.

Changing users on same computer

If you want to change Facebook user accounts on the same computer, you can do one of three things:

1) Simply click on Account and Logout, then log in with the new user.

2) Use a different browser, like Firefox, so that the first user doesn't need to log out before the second user can log in - the second user simply opens the Internet in Firefox instead.

3) Create a new Windows user account. The second user would then log out of the first person's Windows account and log in to their own and open Facebook there.

Cannot access my account

I assume you cannot log into your user account in Windows.
This is how to create a new user account to log in and to move your user files from the old account to the new one.
Start the computer and keep pressing F8 until startup menu appears. Use arrow keys to select "safe mode".
When windows appears, log on as Administrator.
Use Control Panel, Users and create a new user. Select Computer administrator type. Restart the computer and log on to the new user account. Then you will have to move all your data files:
Open Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Documents and settings\[your old user account]
Select folders Desktop, Favorites and My Documents (this may appear as [User]'s documents) and copy or cut them. Go to c:\Documents and settings\[your new user account] and paste them here.
You will lose only the desktop picture and some windows settings.
After that you may delete the old user account from Control panel/Users

Cannot log on to my computer. Does not accept log in name.

start the computer in safe mode by pressing F8 during boot up. You will notice there is now an admin account. Open the admin account and then click Start/Run In Run type cmd and hit enter. When dos opens type this " net user yourname * " without the quotes. Dos will ask for a new password, enter it and your done. Restart the computer and your new password is set. :)
