Try removing the burners and soaking in hot soapy water. If this doesnt work, an old trick is to burn the dirt out. Put the burner in the oven and bake it. The heat will soften any dirt and then washing the burner in hot soapy water usually removes the build up. Try poking a needle into the holes to clear them.

Ignition clicks but does not light of the burner rings. its a rangemaster Toledo dual oven

Most likely you need to remove burner caps and clean out holes. While it is off turn it on for a sec and see if you small gas. CAREFUL just a sec.
A good cleaning is best before you call your gas company. Our's PG&E do'es it for free check with yours before you call a repairman.

Hope this helps Mike

We have a Rangemaster professional 110 and the inside ringof the wok burner will not light up.but the outside ring will lght up.

First, I'm not a Rangemaster Tech.
* call vendor for service. Gas leaks are hazardous and require a qualified tech to service.
*** The following is for information only.***
* I've always had problems servicing gas stove, heaters, boilers, etc. Lots of unique components that require special tools to service.
* I was surprised to find out that it's better to call on your local Gas Supplier for service. The not only check the supply line but also have a very good working experience with all types of gas fired equipment.
* Slow pilot lighting or burner fire usually means a clogged gas vent or valve. If other burners are working fine, then it's just that particular burner.
* If all burners have the same symptom then it could be a number of things.
* Check gas mains for pressure and flow (you need a gas meter for this but if you have another stove on the same line then it's probable that the mains are okay. Unless the connector or shutoff valve is not working properly (partial open).
* Check gas hose to stove for kinks. Replace if bent (re bending will crack a metal hose.)
* Check the gas regulator (again, need a gas meter)
* Check the feed and branches for gas. If pilot lights are not on then there is a good indication that your not getting gas to that section. (or the pilot is clogged) Clean, clear, or replace pipes/parts.
* Check valve on each burner. This is the most used item on the stove. Expect it to wear out. Replace as needed.
* Final, Be safe; Call your Gas company or MFR tech for service.

Duel fuel Rangemaster Classic 90 (10years old) No gas supply to front small burner on hob! all other burners working fine.

Hi Anita,
I am not shure, but do this cooker have already flame faillure device?
In that case I thnk this is the problem.
If not, it is a clogged nozzle.
You can remove that nozzle, that is under the burnercap, with a 7 mm wrench. Then clean it so you can see trough it and put it back.
They look like the ones in the link.

Burner does not ignite because the gas supply does not have enough pressure. It will light however when its ignited the flame does not burn like all the other burners pushing flame under the pan.

if you remove the burner and examine it closely you will find a very small hole that gets clogged up, try blowing it out and make sure it is seated properaly

Burners will not ignite after cleaning the oven

This could be the problem if only one burner didn't lite:
Could be a liquid cleaner might have dripped down and clogged the holes the burner gas comes through. It should ignite when it dries out, if not then you may have to get the holes in the gas burner cleaned out. I use a toothpik.

If all burners fail to lite, there might be a safety cut-off of some kind in the stove.
Hope this helps.

Front burner , yellow, flaring flames and sooty pans

Sounds like the front burner gas jet holes are either blocked in places or the gas regulation (air/gas) mix to that burner needs adjusting. Try removing the hub where the gas burns from and cleaning each hole with something like a paperclip and then blowing through it to expel any particals.

Range leisure

Most likely cause is food on the burner or down inside the burner holes or possibly in the gas tube that feeds gas to your burner.

If it were mine Id take off the burner and gas feed tube going to it and clean them out with soap and water and get a small drill bit about the same size or a little smaller than the holes that are around the burner and push it through the holes by hand and rotate them by hand in the little holes and verify they are clean and unobstructed. If its a light weight burner like aluminum DO NOT Put the drill bit in a drill and drill the holes out, Some burners are so thin and cheep you could easily drill an extra unwanted hole in the back of the burner. If its a heavy duty cast iron burner you could use a drill if you are very carefull .there could possibly be greese or something inside the burner itself ,try to clean it out if possible. Some times insects like a small house spider will make a web or cacoon or something in there if you dont use it very often.

So after cleaning the burner ( inside and out) , and the gas tube, with soap and water, you dry it off with a clean cloth . If you have access to an air compressor with a blow tip, you would thoroughly blow out each hole on the burner ,and front and back of every other nook and crany or hole there is very thouroughly .After all that reasemble itand try it out. If thats not the problem then I dont know what it could be unless some how your gas supply is getting contaminated with something else before it gets to your stove . If this would be the case then all your gas burners will burn black. If it is only one burner that burns black then there has to be something wrong with that specific burner or gas supply tube going to the burner. Good luck with it ,Sincerely, Keith

May tag gas range 30 inch

Peace,
ngafm here at your service,

i think that gurgling noise is the gas trying to get out and is neing blocked by a over boil or food spill on the sealed burner with the holes clogged!
You may have some food that spilled into the burner and it could be causing the gas not to fully flow out of that one burner.
Or you just have a bead igniter.
If you have sealed burners and the cap and burner where the gas comes out, is removable by hand without tools!
You may want to check the gas holes in the removable burner is clear and or clean them out if they are clogged.
How old is the range?
I hope that these measures will help you remedy the problem simply and easily!
Bless you,
ngafm
