If you can use the winch manually by pressing buttons on the winch then the problem will be in either the remote unit(Battery in back to front) or the receiver in the winch

Polaris ranger problems

put jumper leads from a battery across the main terminals of the winch It should work one way Then reverse the polarity and it should work the other way. If so the winch is good . undo the hand held and check the switch by using a multi meter for continuity on the leads as you switch from in to out.(forward reverse)

2001 Buick Regal. Power door lock swith will not lock doors.

Remove the door panel and unplug the connector to the door actuator. Probe the contacts with a voltmeter set on DC volts. Then operate the lock/unlock switch. You should see the voltage toggle from +12 volts to -12 volts. If you do, then the wiring, switch and connector are good and you have a bad actuator. Be prepared to start replacing all of them because they all operate the same number of cycles.

Tmax winch no power

The winch has electric solenoids to control the motor. Most of the time when these things quit working, it is either because the solenoid has failed or the wire connections to the solenoids has come loose.

Plip battery spent message will be displayed on the dash of my peugeot 307 hdi 2006 when l switch on ignition. when engine starts running message will leave.

hi this is the battery in your key remote, it is saying it needs to be replaced soon or it will not work so just replace the battery in the fob, be sure to do this in 60 seconds or you will need to re-program the fob, just in case you do not get the battery in, in time, here is how to re-program it as follows Turn the ignition switch to the ON position using the first key.
Press the LOCK button for 10 seconds.
Remove the key and wait for 10 seconds.
Check the Plip key operation.
Repeat for second Plip key if required.
Turn the ignition OFF

hope this helps please comment and rate thanks

Trying to install narva driving lamps unit has

In 12 volt DC automotive electrical systems black is always the ground wire or negative. Make sure you disconnect the battery before doing any electrical work (unhook the negative cable first). Don't splice into any wires under the dash, use a piggyback fuse connector on one of the accessory fuses eg; cigarette lighter.

I have a 39 ford 6 volt battery operated car. I

you need a voltage doubler circuit which feeds from your 6V DC system and converts it to AC and steps it up and converts it to 12V DC. This device might be difficult to find. OR use a 6Vdc power inverter and just use a 120volt AC fan if much easier to source out in your area.
You might want to try a 12VDC high speed fan and see if the 50% reduced speed is already sufficient for you.
