Hi,

In this case, i will suggest you to go to the service centre of Camera, then request him for data recovery.
As there is no recycle bin in camera... so it's very hard to recover pic ownself....

for any query, contact me...

Want to erase password and start over

n order to reset to factory settings, please follow these instructions :
- Power off machine.
- Hold down + first and then POWER for about 10 seconds, release both buttons once Kurio screen loads .
- When you get the open Android picture, press + to enter menu, use - to move down to "wipe data / factory reset" and press POWER again to choose.
- Next press - to choose "YES" and press POWER to start reset.
- Check for yellow text Formatting /data, formatting cache, Data wipe complete.
- Choose reboot system now and press POWER to complete process.
NOTE: This will erase data from your Kurio's internal storage such as Accounts, System settings and Downloaded apps. But music, pictures, and other user data won't be erased. Check "Erase SD card" if you want to clear all the data of the system.
It is also possible to reset only the Kurio Interface: Go to Parental area > Tablet Setup> Press "Reset the Interface to Factory Default Settings".
Once this has been done you will need to set the device up and perform all the updates, instructions for this are on this page.

I cann't figure out how to delete photos from memory card. lost my manuel

The best way to delete all photos from the card is to format it. This prepares it for further use. FixYa is full of people asking how to salvage pictures from cards that haven't been formatted regularly.

You can download the manual from the manufacturer's web site at
www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_a_series/powershot_a1100_is

How can I format? I lost the intenal files

Hello Press the FOLDER button to choose a folder
Press and hold ERASE button for 3 seconds or longer.
The ERASE indicator will flashes
Press the ERASE button again.
Done blinks for two seconds and the deletion will be complete
Note AN erased file cannot be restored.
During this process don’t remove batteries. Otherwise data may be damage.
The recorder should be formatted using only by using the internal FORMAT function found in the recorder's Menu. Formatting using the computer may corrupt system files needed to run the recorder, so computer formatting is not recommended

I have a PDC 3070 - how do I erase images from the memory card? I cannot see an erase button/function.

Is there a button with a garbage can icon? That's the delete button. Bring up a picture you want to delete and press that button...follow the on-screen instructions. If you want to erase the entire card, go into the menu and find "format" ...follow the on-screen instructions.

Erasing the memory card;

All pictures in the internal memory and/or on the memory card can be erased at once. This is accomplished through either formatting or the "all-frame erase" function. I copied the following instructions from the advanced manual, which can be downloaded here: http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/d545zadvman.pdf. Adobe reader should open that file with no problem. If it doesn't, that's another issue altogether.

1. Enter playback mode by pressing the play button.
2. Press the OK MENU button.
3. Press the right arrow button (next to the lightning bolt) to access [MODE MENU]
4. Then, press the down arrow to access the [MEMORY(CARD)] tab.
5. Select the [ALL ERASE] function.
6. Select Yes and press OK MENU.

(You'll need to use the arrow buttons to navigate the menus. Please see pg 16 of the manual for instructions on how to do so.)

Note: when the memory card is in the camera, it will erase the pictures off the card. When the card is removed, the function above will erase the internal memory.

I recently got my memory card developed at Wal-Mart and ever since I got the camera back home there is a big exclamation mark on the screen when I try to turn on the camera. I know this means card error....

Try formatting your card:

1- Press erase button and flash mode button on top of camera at the same time.
2- When YES/NO confirmation screen appears, press OK/SHUTTER button.
3- When formatting is finished, the exclamation mark will go away. Please note that all pictures on card will be erased.

Good luck!

I Hate Photography - I So Don't Understand It

Okay, first to erase one at a time:
go to playback mode then find the picture you want to erase. Press the trash can button (it's the 3rd button down in the middle) only press it one time while the picture is showing it will bring up a screen on the left, use the button that at the top back of the camera that goes to the next picture and with your thumb look at the left part of the screen and go down and select the little icon that look is under the first one highlighted then just press the button just to the right of the Menu buttom (this is the enter button and it's not clearly marked at all). This will erase/delete the selected picture.

To format card and erase all pictures: do all the above but when you press the trash button press it again and hold it for a second and the screen will give you more icons at the left of the screen toggle down to the bottom icon and press the enter button and your format screen will come up. It's easy from there.

Help

Hi,

Yes and in several methods as below listed. Since your posting refers to a generic problem for all digital cameras and not only an Olympus FE-230, some of the settings may have a different nomenclature or button name.
1. When you download pictures to you PC, rather than copy, select move; or
2. If you want to erase one picture at a time from the camera - press on the power button, then menu button, once menu is displayed, arrow down/up, you will be asked to erase the picture displayed, select yes/no by up/down, then press OK (menu button); or
3. If you want to erase all contents of the memory card of the camera - press on the power button, then menu button, once menu is displayed, arrow right, down to select card, right to select card setup, right to enter card setup, arrow down to select format or erase all, OK. Erase all just erases the files, format erases all and re-initialize the memory card; or
4. Remove memory card from camera and insert into a memory card reader attached to USB of your PC. The memory from the camera will be treated as a removable device and you can view, move, copy, delete/erase, format. This option seems to be most effective in viewing all contents under Windows Explorer with the view setting set to Thumbnail.
5. Connect the camera via the supplied cable to any USB port of your PC. The camera will be treated as a removable device and you can view, move, copy, delete/erase, format. This option seems to be most effective in viewing all contents under Windows Explorer with the view setting set to Thumbnail.

Specifically for an Olympus FE-230:
1. Press the < or > buttons to display the picture you want to erase;
2. Press the trash can button (bottom right);
3. Press the UP button to select [YES], press OK;

or

To erase all:
1. Press the MENU button to display the top menu in playback mode;
2. Select [ERASE], [ALL ERASE], and press OK;
3. Select [YES], and press OK

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
