I have a one cup machine but it only makes about half a cup,how do i use the button that shows add

WHAT IS A FULL CUP FOR THE MACHINE? Just because "your" cup isn't getting filled up doesn't mean the machine is broke. You may be using too large of a cup.

It's simple...put a cup under the steam wand & press the water button. Let it run until your cup is half full. That will ventilate the machine.

Reset the cup size to #2

Yes, it works just like a regular coffee machine, like mr coffee, but instead of using 8 or 12 cup glass craft, it makes one cup at a time, put coffee grounds in to your desired strength , put water in container and put cup under and have a great cup of Joe. Thanks Mr Bean

Here is a tip that I wrote that will give you some things to try that will help you get your Keurig coffee brewer working again.

Remove the power plug and keep aside. Keep the sart button pressed on to discharge. After 15 minutes switch on the washer while holding the pause/cancel button.
If the set does not come back to life it iis possible that the main board has encountered some errors.
Repeat the procedure after some time.

The amount of water is programmed by holding in the button. Put your cup below, and press the button. Keep holding until you are happy with the amount of water that came out - and then let go.
Next time you use it, you just need to do the normal short press on the buttom.
(Both the Espresso and the Lungo button can be programmed.)

By pressing the button for "stronger" coffee, it slows down the rate at which the water enters the grounds. This allows the water to set in the grounds longer and therefore can make the coffee a bit stronger. This is why on some pots when there is a 4 cup setting used, it takes longer for the coffee to be made. With such a small amount of coffee, it should go thru more slowly to get the same result.

Hold down the descale button for 5 seconds its the double ellipse, that should put it in a clean cycle. It is possible that it needs cleaning and it locked up because it was not getting cleaned.

First, you should not be using your espresso machine as an american coffee maker. It puts way too much pressure on the components of the machine. The standard cartridges are made to do 1.5 - 3.0 ounces of espresso. should you want to make a longer cup of coffee you need to get the aroma point gran caffe cartridges, lavazza code 427. this will enable you too get the longer cup of coffee without putting the added stress on your machine.
