Check the 20 amp fuse where the power cord ends inside the oven. If it is open check the latch switches. If the switches check ok the invertor is probably bad, smoking.

SOURCE: Panasonic NN-T694SF smoke, shuts itself off

In most cases, this is a problem with the inverter or a bad transfotmer.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer. You can find one here:

SOURCE: Panasonic NN-P295 Cooktop Light not working

We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week.

At our Web site, you can get details of our service, plus we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

This can often also affect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can be inoperable or stuck on too.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Stove top light on Microwave will not shut off.

There's a relay in the microwave that is not working.

Panasonic Oven model No NN-C784MF/WF

I would keep the items in. Usually, oil is sprayed on which can cover anything that is in oven at that production step. Won't hurt anything one way or the other.

Where can I get a manual for a panasonic microwave convection oven serial number 863170033 model number NN-2909 manufactured in June 1993.

Partstore.com has the owner's manual for sale: http://www.partstore.com/Model/Matsushita/Panasonic/NN2909.aspx ; scroll through the parts list in the All Parts section or limit your search to the Microwave documents in the box on the left. http://www.partstore.com/Part/Matsushita/Panasonic/NN2909/Matsushita/Panasonic/OMNN2909/New.aspx is the direct link.

Unfortunately, I do not see the NN-2909 listed at any other site.

I hope this helps.

It is a Dimension4 the Genius NN-C2000W Inverter Microwave. When we use the microwave function it automatically cuts out the microwave and power fuse. however, we can use the convection and griller...

You most likely a shorted capacitor which is causing the fuse to blow. This is part of the microwave HV system and isn't in use during convection cycles.
