My car dies and then re starts hours later whenever i turn on the radio it dies faster than other days. I work about an hour away so time itll go days without dying other times every other day etc. sometimes my wheel will lick then it dies when am ggetting off exits at lights whenever i slow down some way. I wanna buy the sensor to replace it but nobody can tell me what its called. Does anybody know if it is the sensor or maybe something else? Im already gonna replace the water tub so am hoping once i replace both sensor and tub it will be fine. Any suggestions or thoughts on the symptoms ?

Before you spend a dollar , have the fault codes read to be sure that the sensor is in fact faulty and that it is not faulty somewhere else.

SOURCE: 1993 Volvo 850 wont start...help?!

It sounds like your fuel pump is having a problem with getting the last of the fuel from your tank. The pump also has a strainer on it. The unfortunate reality with the 1993 Volvo 850 is that the pump and strainer are located inside of your gas tank. You can look for kinks or pinched areas in the line but from your description it sounds like the pump is going. It has to work much harder when the fuel is low in the tank.

On my daughters 97 mazda mpv it set a code P1345 CMP or SGC sensor circuit Fault .I just replaced the valve cover gaskets, I removed the upper intake to remove valve covers. I also replaced the 2 vac lines...

Look at your cam positon sensor harness and connector. Also pull the sensor out and look at the tip for abnormal wear (ie: chips, breakage, ugliness) Check for "mouse abuse," they love eating wire insulation. Most likely your sensor is bad. In the rare case you might have a damaged reluctor wheel.
Your Evap Code: large leak, that usually means that you left your gas cap loose. Or the seal on the cap is in need of replacement. Also if you've had any of your hands in the fuel tank, if you were messing around with the pump, you may have a damaged/leaking tank seal. OR if you were messing around with the vac lines you might have crossed the evap return line with the supply.

Start the car and it iddles fast and than slow as it does this it smokes out of the tail pipe and than dies.

you have water in gas your going to have to drop gas tank and clean or you can try gas cleaner maybe that will fix the problem.

Hi!!
This type of vehicles do have the problems you mentioned, CPS, CKP, IAC solenoid, together with the coolant leak on top of engine and the crack of the coolant reservoir tank. I am telling you this as an Intrepid owner.
Check fuel pump pressure, if don't have a gauge, borrow one from AutoZone or similar AutoParts. Also check it when engine don't start. If OK, check for spark, could be camshaft sensor (CPS).

Mk1 A4 ABS warning light

I have a 2000 Audi A4 and the break wear sensor warning light come on for me too. It does not flash and is orange in color. I have asked the Audi dealer twice about it and they told me it's because the previous owner put aftermarket break pads on it, thus messing up the sensors. I don't know about the ABS warning and other than that I wish you luck on it.

Our driver door sensor is messed up / when you turn the lights on the car beeps and will not stop beeping / how much would repairing this cost

it will take 1-2 hours for repair shop rates are usually around $85 per hour.

here is the part you need as the sensor is built into the lock assembly.

http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2001/audi/tt/body_mechanical_-ar-_trim/door_lock_assembly.html

so with the cost of the part and labor your looking at anywhere from $200-$350.

Audi A4 1998 water leakage from centre of the underside of the car

OK more information is needed on the leak.
EXACTLY where do you see it? Inside or out side? What color is it? Dose it have an smell to it?

Now on the light, What light or symbol is lit, get a photo if needed?

A leak in the center of an Audi is generally the AC condensation drain so this is why I need more information. The 2 may be not related.
