Hi Jackie Gasaway,
Let me know if you are talking about a BIOS or Hard drive or a Logon password. If the above steps don't help then please email the system service tag, customer name, place of purchase, address, phone number and email address to [email protected]. Then I can check and see what can be done.
Thanks and Regards.

If you know the password already, then you can reset it from control panel - User accounts.
If you do not know the password, then unfortunately formatting the system is the only option.
Go into your control panel. It should give you the info there

Log on to your computer with safe mode
Steps
1. Start your computer
2. As soon as you see the first black screen when the computer starts , keep on pressing F8
You will see advanced options menu
Select " Safe mode with net working"
Now your computer will give you an option to log in with the administrator username
You need to log in with Admin and then goto control panel and change the password for your username ...
If this does not work then plz reply back stating the Operating system you have like windows XP, vista , 98 , 2000 etc...
Thanks and dont forget to rate!!!!!!!!

if u have made reset disk like pen drive then u can use it for resetting ur password other wise do following
If successful you have 3 choices to do this.
1: Right click on my computer and select "Manage". On the left side
select "local users and groups" and then "Users". Your login name will
appear in the right hand side. Right click on it and select "Set
Password". Fill in the fields or leave them empty. Apply it and your
done.
2: Go to "control panel" and Select "User Accounts". In the window
select "change an account" and then select which user. From there you
select "Remove password" And, if it works, you're done. I have
encountered it before that it asks for the password before it will
remove it.
3: Go to "Start", "Run". Type in "cmd" to bring up the command window. In the window type:
"net user *USERNAME* 1234"
"net user" Always in the beginning. After the word "user" is a space
and the user name. (NB) This does not work with user names which is
more than 1 word. Example 'user 1' would not work where 'User1' would
work. After the user name has been typed in there is another space and
then a new password where I typed 1234.
So... "net user *USERNAME* 1234"
