Why does the belt on my mower deck keep breaking?

if i had to guess, i would check and see if the pullys are alinged. Sounds as though you are getting a lot of heat damage or wear to break 3 in one season. I hope this helps you.

I moved into a flat with newlec NLSH24AN HEATER N NO INSTRUCTION. ..HELP

Hi Sharon,
This should be relatively easy.
You have storage heaters that only take in the hear during cheap rate electricity (at times you cannot change - typically between 00:00 and 07:00 but times vary - ask your electricity supplier).
The controls of an electric storage heater normally consist of two
dials to be found under a flap on the heater.

The input dial, sometimes known as the charge or overnight dial.
This control sets the amount of heat to be stored during the night.
It is best to be set on a seasonal basis: medium for
autumn/spring, high for winter.
If you find that you run out of heat before the end of the day,
and the Input is not on maximum, turn it up to store extra for the
following day.

The Output Dial sometimes known as the room temperature or boost dial.
This dial controls the amount of warm air or convected heat given out during the day. It opens and closes.

Kenmore front load dryer won't heat and timer broken

The most likely cause is the timer is bad. It turns on and off things as it cyles through and the first step is to get the tub turning before it turns on the heat.

I installed an RTH2300 this winter to replace an old mercury thermostat. It worked fine for the heating season. I turned it to Cool for the first time today and my AC and furnace blower will not turn...

Maybe turn selector switch to off.see if every thing shuts off.if yes. turn FAN selector switch from (auto) to (on) mode.does the outside unit come on or does just the furnace blower only run ? the inside fan should be the ONLY thing on.if not, reverse the (G) & (Y) wires inside the new thermo.

How do I season the griddle that came with my new gas stove?

This is taken verbatim from page 11 of my Frigidaire Gallery range:
"Seasoning, using and caring for the griddle Before first use: -Wash griddle in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. -Apply a thin coat of vegetable oil to the entire surface (front and back of griddle). -Preheat your oven to 350*F. Place the griddle on the upper rack in your oven. -Bake griddle for 1 hour at 350*F, then turn oven OFF and let cool before removing. -The surface may have a tacky feel to it from the seasoning process. If desired, wash the griddle in hot soapy water, rinse well, and dry completely.
Using the griddle: Remove the center burner grate and carefully replace with the griddle (some models). Preheat the griddle for 5 minutes on medium to medium low setting. Slow preheat ensures even heat distribution during the cooking process. DO NOT preheat the griddle on HI setting. Preheating on HI may warp the griddle and prevent even heat distribution.
After each use: -To prevent rusting, store in a dry place and keep uncovered. -After each use, clean with a stiff brush and hot water only. -Do not clean griddle in the dishwasher. -Dry immediately and apply a light coating of vegetable oil to griddle before storing.

Furnance does not come on (first time to turn it on this season). It has power and blower/motor area heats up(I can smell the dust burning) but nothing blows out though the fan works.

You have a fan switch for the blower that's probably bad.
It only allows the blower to start and stop at a certain set temperature.

I can speak for ades. Is the burners and everything on, or is it just the fan blowing? Please reply, as the solutions for each are much different.
