Try a local independent appliance parts store. They may still have it in stock. Check your phone book under appliance repair/parts.

Can I get a repair manual for a 1977 GE P7 double oven

With it being as old as you are saying, about the only place you might have luck finding parts would be to check online at some used parts places. I tried checking Sears website but from what they were showing, you have not provided the full model number and I could not find out for sure if there were any manuals or if some of the parts were still available. Usually, after a unit has reached 25 to 30 years in age, if not sooner, parts are not readily available anymore. Sorry I could not help you better!

Sears is a department store. They do not build their own appliances. They contract with many different manufacturers to build all of their appliances. This chart will help you determine who actually built your appliance, then you can choose the manufacturer from the charts on this page.

The first 3 digits of the model number determine who built your Sears / Kenmore Unit. This can be helpful if looking for repair or replacement parts.

Your model is manufactured by the following if your units first digits starts with:

How do I clean my amana cooktop. I can't seem to get it clean no matter what products I try from cooktop cleaner to windex

Hi....you can call me M. G. and just to ease your mind, I am an appliance Technician & have been pretty much all of my adult life. Have you tried a product called Cerama Bryte? It looks like calamine lotion only white in color. You have to follow the directions on the back of the bottle & you may have to do it more than once, but it is the best & i don't really recommend anything else. And you are gonna have to find yourself a nonabrasive scuff pad.... and that's gonna help cut that stuff off the glass. best part is that Cerama Bryte makes several products devoted to cook-top cleaning including special Cleaning Pads for glass tops. Windex is the worst thing to use. And as a last resort, I have 1 more method, but you should do just fine with this one. I've seen it remove some serious stuff!! You can re-post if this doesn't correct your issue and I'll explain my "Last Resort Method"to you. And once you get that thing clean (or as clean as it will come), as a suggestion you probably need to clean the cook-top only with a product designed to clean cook-tops and the same day the mess is made so those stains won't build on top of one another. Well, good luck and hope I've been of some help :-)

Gorenje EI44A1-T34 or EI44A2-T44 Dear Sirs,we have the oven for quite a while, but never used the oven part of this induction oven. And therefor didn't bother too much with the blinking light showing...

I hope you have found already solution for this... Anyway this may help others: press buttons 1 and 2 together and release. Then use jog wheel to adjust time. Wait 5 seconds and you're done. Gorenje manual sucks, no info about oven controls. I managed even to set on oven child lock (key symbol), only way to take it off was to remove fuses from electric board of our house!

Amana Convection Oven - Beeping Continuously

F1 code and continuous beeping. This is a common problem with that type of Amana control. The control panel has a design problem I think, and it gets dirty and worn over time. I have replaced mine once, and it happened again less than 2 years later. I took the control panel out, and inspected it. I found a web solution, that said to shim the control panel out away from the housing slightly because it rubs on the metal around the opening and damages the control board contacts. I could see little scratch marks on the plastic skin around the edge of the button area, so that made sense. I tried that, and it still did not work.....panel was still beeping. Mine seemed to be the timer control that was going on and off, and then eventually an F1 error. So, I took the panel out again, and actually peeled the control surface off of the control board. No going back now, I thought. I got it off....it is really sticky.......and looked at the control panel itself . It looked fine, but there was a lot of gunk and wear marks around the edge of the plastic button area. I cleaned it up with alcohol swabs, and checked to make sure none of the printed circuit paths had any wear or damage, and then put the cover back on the board. It was still sticky enough to go back on, and stay in place. I reinstalled it, and "bingo" no more problem. It has been fine for 3 months now. Yahooo! The pic below is just an example pic from the internet. My model is slighty different, but the panel looks basically the same. 1_23_2012_2_51_28_pm.jpg
