Thank you for your inquiry, cheryl!

I understand that you have removed your soap dispenser on your Electrolux washer and are having a challenge getting it back into place. It should go back into place once lined up. If you continue you having an issue I would suggest having a professional technician out to your home for proper install of the dispenser. Good luck. -Matt

SOURCE: Electrolux front load washer door won't

First try to reset the lock unplugged the power machine for a few (10) minutes (maybe release the interlock door switch). If this work, them its possible that you need door latch replacement.

To do it, turn off power, unplug at the mains. Drag the machine out so you can see the back. Remove the 2 screws that hold the top on, pull back or tap the top forward (depending on the model) to unclip it. Peer inside. You will see the door switch inside the chassis exactly in line with the door handle on the outside. See if you manually make the mechanism release, or if you have a stubby philips screwdriver, you can probably unscrew the switch complely.

Electrolux washing machine soap dispenser front panel - I took off to clean and even though all lines up with actual soap dispenser tray - I can't get front panel to stay attached! Barbara

Hi,

Please recheck the documentation that came with the washer to ensure that you're attempting to place it in the manner intended by the manufacturer . Also, you can check the floor near the washer to ensure that no pieces have accidentally broken off from the front panel or dispenser as this would most likely stop you from making the attachment. If this issue persists, please schedule an appointment with your local Home Depot to fix to help overcome the issue at home.

Thank you.

Lots of water pouring out on to the floor from the laundry soap dispenser in my front loader and doesn't say any error and when i start it pours out

Disconnect first the mains, power plug off the wall. You could have a clog in your soap drawer; pull the dispenser drawer completely out. There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer to remove. Clean the soap drawer with an old tooth brush. The usual block could be old soap, softener, etc. (you could also be using too much soap powder). I usually use just above 125ml (my measure cup says ml, I use front loader powder for the 5.5kg load) The wash is very gud. This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.
Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Next could be one of hoses has become loose, should be re-fixed. Examine by removing top of the front loader; this will give you a gud view of the pipes. If helped, click.

Wcvh6800j1ww leaking under soap dispenser

Three screws at the back of cover, three screws at the front, push the cover back and you can remove it. 1 screw at the front of the soap drawer and two more on the dispenser and you can lift the whole unit up.

My front load Electrolux washer asks me "clean

You do not need to clean a drain pump. After you have washes so many loads of clothes, soap scum builds up in your tub and will shorten the life of your product. You just need to run it thru the "clean" cycle. You can use 1/2 cup of bleach and NO detergent or you can by a tub cleaner from most grocery stores or Walmart and use that. It'll just remove any soap scum and mineral build-up off your tub. It should be done each time you washer tells you to do it. Hope this helps. :)

The soap dispenser at times does not open during the wash cycle. When the cycle is complete and the front door is opened the soap dispenser is either stil closed or at time is open with the soap still...

Check the way you're loading your dishwasher. Sometimes large plates or baking pans can block the door of the dispenser. The latch unlocks but because the door is blocked, the detergent can't get out. Once you open the main door, the dispenser door may pop open and looks as if it has been in the fully opened position when it was actually held in place by that large utensil!Cutting boards are major blockers as well.

It will not dispense the fabric softener.

Hi
You'll need to clean the dispenser by removing it. Use white vinegar and spray then spray the dispenser & agitator with it too. Use hot water after a minute and vinegar will wash out the softener. Try using a soft brush to clean it. Try running a cycle with hot water and bleach (use no soap). Avoid using large amount of soap. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
